The current workaround is the following code injected in Symfony's HttpFoundation/Request.php:
// If we are running on Pantheon, set the port to be 80. This prevents confusion
// with Pantheon's internal port system as part of the routing layer
if (isset($_SERVER['PRESSFLOW_SETTINGS'])) {
$port = '80';
}
from drops-8.
The proper way to fix this is to set the SERVER_PORT value in NGINX to be the appropriate port.

Closing this since this is a change we handled on the backend of Pantheon and doesn't require any changes to Drupal itself.

As a reference, this is currently being overridden in settings.php until the change is made on Pantheon.

This was fixed upstream in Symphony and is now resolved.
