Hi @Faqa, thanks for opening this issue. I can certainly look into loosening or unpinning the package dependencies, perhaps at least within a particular range of versions. Are there particular dependencies resulting in conflicts/issues?

Requests and its dependencies, for example, are all commonly used libraries (tinydb has been less of an issue for us). We specifically have seen clashes with requests, urllib, and certifi, but generally I think it would be better if you guys didn't pin upstream dependencies, and pinned requests only within a certain range.

Hi @Faqa, to close the loop on this issue, I released pan-cortex-data-lake==2.0.0b1 on PyPI today. Everything remains the same except that dependencies have been relaxed and pyproject.toml was created to replace setup.py. Please test and let me know if it resolves your specific dependency issue.
