Will need to add a physical model for the HI lines and add constraints to the feature ratios so the fitting can take advantage of this info.

I know for Galactic sources other people might be more interested in the change of the center wavelengths for the ices, e.g. H2O, CO2, CO. Do you think this will be some functionality in the future? Since I am dealing with extragalactic sources which is more of an average of everything in the entire galaxy , I won't really let the central wavelength flow too much.

Yes. I am guessing that the constraints for Galactic sources will need to be relaxed given that more variation is often seen in the center wavelengths as well profiles.
