Hatte eben das selbe Problem. In der README vom Modul steht im Abschnitt "Compatibillity Map" auch "Oxid 6.2 not yet supported!". Schade, ist wirklich ein hilfreiches Modul.

As far as I know the module is not compatible with 6.2 due to a lot of internal changes. So it is not only about changing the compatibility to composer 2. But you are very welcome to test and provide a patch

currently this module is not active maintained any-more.
there is:
https://github.com/vanilla-thunder/oxid-module-devutils/wiki
which provides to show the state of database, metafile and shop yaml files. As far I know it lacks it automatic fixing feature but may still help you to sort out issues during development.
If you need the automatic fix feature from module internals please provide some feedback about the use case and I will forward the feature request to the product team.
