Melos is used to manage multiple packages and apps under one configuration, it allows to write scripts to run across all the packages and apps that it manages.If we get an option to rename the package of different apps by specifying their path it would be great...
I would try myself and send a pull request

I don't really know what melos is. Can you give some info, example repo, or such for my better understanding.
Also you can implement the feature and send a pull request.
