This was fixed 2 days ago via the following pull request to the official library: docker-library/official-images#4327

But still, the image pull is failing. Do we need to do something on the client-side to make this work ?

It's working fine for me. Starting with no local images:
$ docker images
REPOSITORY TAG IMAGE ID CREATED SIZE
A fresh pull works :
$ docker pull oraclelinux:7.4
7.4: Pulling from library/oraclelinux
ae3dbd22edf4: Pull complete
Digest: sha256:148c0aea44b9bd0fba9466c40d7447056b669b8b786cf32f424e685c79107eb4
Status: Downloaded newer image for oraclelinux:7.4
You will need to check your client-side configuration to make sure you're actually pulling from the Docker Hub. If you're using a proxy, the proxy may have cached the failure. I'm not sure how long that cache will last though.

oh yeah, proxy cache seems to be the problem. I'm able to pull the image when I'm connected directly. Thanks for helping me with this issue!
