Department Restrictions [Feature Request] about opensupports HOT 5 OPEN

I think this feature is already supported, you can edit the departments that a staff member has access to. In the admin dashboard, you can go to the staff member profile and check the departments of that staff member.

Well yes that's correct for staff members. But it should also be possible to generally select which departments external users have a access to. Not per user, but in general.

How do you mean which departments external users have access to ? Do you mean as to which departments external users can log a ticket against ?

Exactly. But system wide. Not per user, because it's not manageable in my opinion.
I think generally you shouldn't need a ticket system admin to maintain a ticket system. Others are like this - and I wouldn't be here were it not for simplicity.
