This seems to happen quite frequently, here is an example.

The problem is that the algorithm converges to a parameterization that leads to a higher criteria function value than the start value.
That was what i meant when i wrote that the adjustment process would reduce the algorithms to absurdity.

I deleted the direc specification from the random generating process and the init file.
