OpenNI on Tegra TK1 (ARM processor) about openni HOT 5 OPEN

Update: now, I can get Sample-NiSimpleRead to work as in the first link above but I have the same problem he has. I cannot get the viewer to work. When I run a program that requires images, I get the error message below and the images I get are all black / empty:
