I am unable to reproduce this issue. When I ran openfl test flash
, the Flash Player window seemed to be 800x600. To be sure, I changed it to width="1024" height="320" and ran openfl test flash
again. It was clearly a very wide, but not very tall window that was different than the original size.

Did you remove all files from assets folder? It must be empty that issue will happen.

You attached a .zip file containing a project with an empty assets folder. I tested that project, and I could not reproduce.
I also followed the steps in your description to create a completely new project, and I also could not reproduce.
In both cases, I could successfully set the window dimensions to anything I wanted.

Can you please give more details?
-Which version of flash player are you experiencing the problem with?
-What is your operating system?
-Are you viewing swf output with flash player projector?
-By flash player, you mean adobe air?
