@BaseliyosJacob :

  • Is "WP7 OSS Tool Modelling" a synonym for modelling with the WP 7 OSS tool chain or on the WP 7 OSS tool chain?
  • Is "WP7 OSS Tool Development" a synonym for developing with using the WP 7 OSS tool chain or developing the WP 7 OSS tool chain?
  • Is "SysML-Papyrus Development" a synonym for setting up the SysML part of the WP7 tool chain?

Anyhow, I can confirm our effort for modelling by using Papyrus + SCADE including the work on formalizing Subset-026, chapter 7. The distribution between these will be adjusted flexibly.

Thanks for the questions Uwe - that is a very valid questions.

Let me try to answer it from a organization view - otherwise it can become difficult to describe and find a common view on the margins.

  • "WP7 OSS Tool Modelling - If the value of your effort will be a benefit for the WP 3, then please shift it
to WP3. If the value of your effort will be a benefit for the WP 7, then please shift it to WP 7.
  • "WP 7 OSS Tool Development" - If the value of your effort will be a benefit for the WP 3, then please shift it
to WP3. If the value of your effort will be a benefit for the WP 7, then please shift it to WP 7.
  • "SysML-Papyrus Development" - If the value of your effort will be a benefit for the WP 3, then please shift it
to WP3. If the value of your effort will be a benefit for the WP 7, then please shift it to WP 7.

Since we are working in a R&D project your mention of "adjusted flexibly" is maybe the right word.

We had some discussion on and after the PMB meeting on Friday. For clarification, I propose to include the following change in the table:

  • we do not differentiate on different activities in WP7, WP7 is counted as a solid block and covers everything needed to provide a toolchain.
  • I have updated the tiltes in the document accordingly. ere is the table for your confirmation (latest by next PMB):

Hello Bernd,
I tried smartgit again, but I’m asked for a “master password”. Probably I try to do something illegal.
Can you give me some help by phone? (I didn’t store your phone number)
Regards,
Jan
