I'm really confused honestly.
Anyway, did Adobe reply yet?

A lot of things can happen in 3 years.
example, flash restarted in 2017 to update the linux version after 7 years of break.
So Please don't take Adobe / Google articles like prophet words. They just plant seeds and analyze how developers will react on it.
