@agentofuser Interesting, I knew about the concept but did not have any naming associated with it.

Would love to hear more from folks who have any experience with it in community projects.

Something that initially feels off with quadratic voting is the feeling that it's not really democratic in the way that some folks would have more "votes" to assign than others, rather than a straight "one person = one vote".

Any attacks to the voting (like buying votes) would be easier as well, as you only have to focus your effort on people who has a large vote budget. Otherwise, you'd have to spend equally on all participants.

None the less, thanks for the suggestion, worth thinking about.

In the end, I've struggled to find any software that is directly linked together with GitHub to perform binding votes with the right features.

Is there any ready-to-use service/software that implements quadratic voting? I don't know much about it, but it's supposed to have some kind of "provably fair" outcome guarantees.

Another alternative is to contribute to https://github.com/apex/gh-polls and see if they are interested on collaborating on the missing features.
