I think this page should be more information than the projects page #44.
- It should include a link to see all the projects we've done.
- It should point people to projects/issues they can contribute to.
- It should explain why we github/open source.
- It should point to resources like data.austintexas.gov.

I agree, we need an onboarding page. A path to get involved in a project should be available online all the time, so we're not depending on the happenstance of the right people meeting each other at a hack event. I think the page really needs these:
- It should point people to projects/issues they can contribute to.
- Recently launched
- Needs love / Open Issues
- Suggest a Project Idea / Start a project / new project onboard
I think it can do without these:
- link to see all the projects we've done.
- explain why we github/open source.
- point to resources like data.austintexas.gov.
