I'm not in love with the icons below the hero section. Ideally they would be svg instead of png (to look better on retina displays and so we can change the color with css instead of editing the image file.)

Not sure where they are supposed to link to. And the places I would guess that they link to seem link redundant links.

Come hang out => Events?
Talk to Us => Slack? or a mailto: link?
Get Connected => Slack? Google group sign up?
Hack => Projects page? already a button for this in the header.

Looking back at the sitemap, how does this fit in? Maybe we hold off on implementing this section until we have a clearer idea of what paths we want to send people down?

In the original design they didn't link to anything. They were supposed to
be quick blurbs about the different things Open Austin does with icons that
correspond. I think that part got lost in translation since I had to hop
off working on website to do logo stuff.

Makes sense. I thought you could do that with css but wasn't sure so I just manually edited the files lol.

I can look up how to do that but first, what content to we want on there, then?
