I installed the latest SingleFile Version to be sure.

I am not sure what caused your problem. I tried using the revisions plugin using the executable version of Bob on OSX and Linux and there was no trouble, I don't think that is something that would be affected by operating system. I don't have a windows computer to try it on so I can't test that part.
I am guessing that something happened at the same time you were trying the plugin, it sounds like it is most likely a problem with the wiki path.
You said that you made it in Bob, so I am going to assume that it isn't the root wiki that is having the problem.
Only the root wiki needs to have a settings file, all the other wikis use the same settings. I think that the most likely problem is that somehow the path to the wiki changed.
The easiest thing to check is to go to into the manual settings tab in the root wiki and check the path to the wiki in question. It should have an entry in the wikis part that looks like this (with WikiName replaced with whatever you called your wiki):
"WikiName": "./Wikis/WikiName"
Then in the folder where you run the executable there should be two sub-folders, one called IndexWiki and one called Wikis. In the Wikis folder there should be a folder with the same name as your wiki.
If either of those are missing or if the folder name doesn't match than the wiki can't be loaded.
If you moved or renamed the folder than Bob doesn't know where it is and can't load it. If so you need to either change the name back so it matches the path in the settings or change the path in the setting to match the folder name.

@AnthonyMuscio did this get resolved?

Without more information I can't do anything here and there has been no response so I am closing the issue.
