We released version 2.0.0. The plugin uses guessLanguage to recognize the language and the SpeechSynthesis interface of the Web Speech API.

There is no limit in this version.

Hello. @Akrobs, I can confirm the plugin "Speech" has a playback limit. I created an enhancement: show massage "play limit ended" this is issue 55773 in our private issue tracker.

Hello, I've been having a similar issue with the speech plugin not reading text out loud once the plugin was added. Does this speech limit mean there is no way to get it to work or something else?

I think if a API key is bought this some little modification of code it can be done (Never tried it)
But right now this plugin using free public version of API
