Have you downloaded the latest version of VVDocumenter? And did you restart Xcode?
After doing these it works just fine for me.

I already had Xcode installed (v. 5.0.x) without VVDocumenter. And than, today, I followed this steps:

  1. Updated Xcode;
  2. Download VVDocumenter;
  3. Opened the VVDocumenter project and built it;
  4. Restarted Xcode, but didn't work;
  5. Restarted the computer, but didn't work.

Please check again!
When I updated xcode to version 5.1, I have a same problem
And I "git pull" the new VVDocumenter, build it, restart xcode
it works

You must add the file VVDocument-Xcode-Info.plist the following key A2E4D43F-41F4-4FB9-BB94-7177011C9AED DVTPlugInCompatibilityUUIDs element, this allows the plugin to recognize Xcode 5.1

This step is unnecessary if you use the most recent version (see fd9ba82).
I assume he may be using a wrong Xcode version (e.g. Xcode 5.1 beta?). Otherwise something is fishy here since nobody else has reported similar issues.

Hi, @danielborges93 sorry for the late reply.

As @CrazyCatcher said, would you like please to check if the VVDocumenter-Xcode.xcplugin file existing in the plugin folder? If it is, you can try to remove it by hand and then build again from the latest master (65722b1).

Or you can try to use Alcatraz and install VVDocumenter from the package manager panel. Of course, you have to restart Xcode before the plugin get loaded by Xcode.

If you are still suffering this issue, please let me know.

Hi!
VVDocumenter-Xcode.xcplugin already existed in the folder. I removed it by hand in terminal and build the project again. Finally worked!
Thanks @onevcat and @CrazyCatcher!!
