I did figure out one thing. If I install the bot as an owner to the team (instead of as a member like I originally did) then I get Icebreaker response 'Hi There' with the Take a Tour button. I still don't see anything in the activity tab nor am I able to type Icebreaker for bot commands.

my understanding was that this bot is for posting only and does not accept
commands. I saw it in the description. I might be wrong.

@niroland I missed that. Thanks. Is Icebreaker working for you? How long did you wait until it scheduled a meeting between two team members?

All worked as described. You can force it to pair more often-use porta to
change flow frequency to engage bot.

I dont know what porta is? Can you use it to modify the day/time of the proposed meetings? Any info you can provide would be great.

@keiichizup @dchrist27 There's no conversation window because the bot doesn't take user input. Users receive a card when they are paired up, and all interaction happens via button clicks.
The "personal" scope in the manifest is causing confusion, as it lets you install the app personally when it should only be installed to a team. We'll take that out to avoid this issue.
Indeed Icebreaker must be installed to a team for it to do pairups-- it basically goes through the teams that it has been installed to, and matches users in a team who haven't opted out.
