Over the course of my training in Semicolon Africa I've:

  • Engaged in project-based learning, with in-depth exposure to core software engineering and computing concepts like Software Development Life Cycle, Database Adminstration, Cloud Native Computing, Software Architecture, Design and Testing.

  • Learnt techniques of problem-solving through Design and Critical thinking guidelines.

  • Acquired knowledge and training in the concepts of Business Modelling and Analysis.

  • Learnt to communicate Software Architecture and System Design using UML communication diagrams.

  • Liaised with Product Managers and Team Leads to identify minimum viable product requirements and clearly defined feature sets into well-scoped user stories for individual tasks.

This Phonebook application contains a set of basic functions for adding, searching, updating, and deleting new contacts. Adding new entries, browsing them, editing and updating, searching for saved contacts, and deleting contacts from the database in the phonebook is one of the most important services that act as the main menu in phonebook application to which i provided CRUD endpoints for. When you add anything to your phone book, you will be asked for information such as first name, last name, phone number, and email address. You can then edit, view, search, and delete this text.
