I think this is fixed by obsproject/obs-deps@d90e263. I'd try the latest OBS 30.1 beta (beta 3 or greater) and verify.

I've been reproducing this, pre-beta, for some time on my machine (14.4 currently). I can also reproduce it on the beta. A quick repro for this particular trace seems to be:
- Open OBS
- Tab out, and back in.
- Open Settings
Very frustrating. It seems not all Mac users are vulnerable. I suspect this could be related to #10017 but I don't have any solid theories.
