It works with whichever app you choose as long as it exposes media controls to the system.
For example, Elisa works and it is in my regular test suite.
If some other players do not display or display poorly on Sunamu, let me know (though I cannot support broken MPRIS2 implementations, we all could issue a ticket on the other side to make the developers aware of the problem.)
