We have improved the handling of list folumn processing in #104 and After this change I'm able to load the dataset with multi-hot features that was taking 616s in 50s on my machine. Roughly 10x faster.

This improvement was released in version 23.02.01. Available in merlin-dataloader version 23.2.1 package on PyPI
