@hfossli I'm (ab)using cassowary for something other than layouts and need to fit something to a very specific integer value. AFAICT everything is double-typed, so doing something like id == abs(calculated_value) is tricky.

And to be honest, exponents would be pretty useful too. I know these things go beyond the initial whitepaper's discussion (from what I can gather), but this would be pretty dern useful for a wide variety of applications I think. Focus on science, Morty.

The Cassowary algorithm is a linear constraint solver:

The modulus operator and abs are both non-linear operations, which cannot be handled by the solver.
