Hah!
The claim to withstand nuclear war was a moment of Dr.Evil-esque hyperbole as I wondered what the hell to write as the project description. :-)
However, you're correct in your guess regarding the approach to data redundancy - nodes that are adjacent to each other in the hash-space could be on other sides of the world. This is a very important aspect of Drogulus - so there is a serious side to the hyperbole. In fact, after chatting with @frabcus about geography-based redundancy, I think there could be a simple hack to create a best effort attempt at storing data in diverse geo-locations.

btw I found my way here from searching drogolus
. A word I recently discovered and like the idea of, but I also have an interest in distributed and fault tolerant computing.
I always wonder whether to throw away my DVD backups or not, since they'll be more likely to survive waves of EMP than my magnetic media (even if it is backed up).
