Great, thanks for the quick fix!

To clarify, it looks like the commits on that upstream branch fix two issues in 1.3.0: A memory leak, and also a security vulnerability that might enable remote code execution, according to Ubuntu: "a remote attacker could use this issue to cause libwebp to [..] possibly execute arbitrary code." This is CVE-2023-1999. For some reason information about that bug are still sparse and there is no bugfix libwebp release, even 3 months after it was fixed upstream, and more than 1 month after the CVE was filed. So I'm a bit confused, I expected google to handle this better.

I'm closing this issue now. Thanks again!
