Agree with this. I used phpLdapAdmin as my Ldap Frontend.

LDAP Result Code 21 is defined as
The invalidAttributeSyntax result code indicates that the requested add or modify operation would have resulted in an entry that had at least one attribute value that does not conform to the constraints of the associated attribute syntax.
The way I had to fix it in my use case was by adding relevant mapping of attributes under the Map section in the ldapsync.ini file. I hope you found a way to fix this, or is no more relevant to you. Closing this issue because there is no response.
