I think the location can still be used whether physical, virtual or otherwise location or alignment.

I think the location field could be used for a truley non-locational value also, FE "virtual" or "skype" or "irc.munchkin.org/chatmeup"

But I see your point on {{location}}, {{country}}, that can still work. Maybe the country can have a special value '--' or empty, which means no country and don't display the country in the buttons: {{location}}{? country}{{country}}{/country} (sorry my mustache is a bit weak, shaving you know)
