Actually my first intent when creating this lib was to reuse SMTP connections but I had some problems and somehow the idea got lost. So if you have any ideas how to get it working, then it would be great, since reconnecting to the SMTP server with every e-mail is not desireable.
A good queue manager can be really difficult to create but since there's only one server to connect to, then this might not be so hard at all.
