Related to #126

I looked into how we might do this yesterday using this pure python example and how we might do this for gmail. The more that I look into it and think about it, I think we should just provide an example of how to do this using a plugin, but I don't think this is something that we will want to maintain as a feature longterm. I think we can support the simple SMTP case, but that is less and less applicable these days (e.g. MFA / BioAuth requirements).
