I'm going to guess this isn't what happened in your case, as the cowlib application is a library application and therefore doesn't need to be started. It should probably be added to the dependency list though but that's not why it didn't work for you.

Please give the steps to reproduce your issue.

Oops, yes, you are right, just add as dependency without start.

I didn't add cowlib in my rebar config and it was my problem. Thanks for help =)
