Mqtt Authentification via Options about vue-mqtt HOT 4 OPEN

Is this a good option ?

In main.js

Vue.use(VueMqtt, 'wss://m21.cloudmqtt.com:38481', {clientId: 'WebClient', username: 'usr', password: 'pass'})

In login.vue

this.$mqtt.options.username='newuser'
this.$mqtt.options.password='newpassword'
this.$mqtt.close()
this.$mqtt.connect()

Unfortunately close() and connect() are not recognized.
Please help.
