@neurolabusc , this seems to only affect Chrome in my testing just now. Do you experience the issue in Chrome?

@neurolabusc , the error is related to limitFrames4D, and the partial load (again, only in Chrome).

@hanayik I think a solution is to modify fetchPartial() to demand reading a stream, and let the subsequent code detect and handle GZip if necessary. So I would suggest changing:

headers: { range: 'bytes=0-' + bytesToLoad, ...headers }

to read

headers: { range: 'bytes=0-' + bytesToLoad, stream: True, ...headers }

@neurolabusc , I don't see stream as a valid http header. Take a look at #794. It's not a solution to the Chrome-specific-failure, but it at least fails gracefully now with a properly formatted try catch statement and I fixed the bytes string creation.
