@PHIROC, it seems that you're not using the latest Rust nightly. This change was introduced in #7 to fix compilation under Rust nightly at that time. Please update your compiler. Thanks!

Hi,
I've just updated my rustc and the crate now builds fine. Thanks.
I am now having a BOM problem:
cargo run
Fresh rust-xml v0.1.0 (https://github.com/netvl/rust-xml#418a3776)
Fresh rust-xml-w v0.0.1 (file:///D:/users/pderochambeau/Documents/DocRust/projects/rust-xml-w)
Running target\rust-xml-w
Error: 1:2: Unexpected characters outside the root element: []
The XML file is DOS-UTF8.
