I'll add support for rainbowduino 3.0 soon, meanwhile use this firmware on the rainbowduinos v3.0:
https://github.com/neophob/udp-to-i2c/blob/master/src/build/Arduino/rv3_tmp/rv3_tmp.ino

-> you need an additional arduino to convert the serial (usb) signal to i2c.

Ok thank you for providing that, but as I said before I am new to all of this programming stuff. So could you explain how to use this firmware? I read this https://code.google.com/p/rainbowduino-v3-streaming-firmware/ to see if I could figure out how to use it but I still don't understand how to use it.

I think I figured out how to use the firmware, but every time I try to compile it it says 'isr2' was not declared in this scope.

Please give me more details about your setup:
-what os are you using?
-what processing version do you use?
-what arduino board do you use?
-did you select the correct arduino board?
-what source file do you try to upload?
-are all needed 3rd party libraries installed?
-provide the complete error message.

The correct firmware file would be https://code.google.com/p/rainbowduino-v3-streaming-firmware/source/browse/rv3sf_arduino/rv3sf/rv3sf.ino- make sure you read whats written in the header

Mac OSX 10.8.4 with bootcamp windows 7 64-bit
processing version?
I use an Uno R3
I think I selected the right board, but do I select the Uno's board or the rainbowduino's?
By source file do you mean the firmware? If so then I tried to upload both of the ones you have shown me.
Could you link me to the needed libraries because I could not find the ones that page talks about.
I don't know what I did but the error message went away.

Also how would I configure the config.properties for rainbowduino 3.0?

As I said I am really new to programming.

rainbowduino 3 is already supported, sorry for the confusion. you can use multiple rainbowduinos, connected via usb
