Using D3.js, animated scatter plots analyze relationships between health risks and different demographics in the US.

etl-project icon etl-project

This group project looks at the ETL framework of the top selling Steam games and its ratings.

finalproject icon finalproject

This group project aims to predict the fatality of an accident given a certain input (time/weather condition/etc.) using machine learning models and Flask.

javascript-challenge icon javascript-challenge

This project involves writing code using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and D3.js that will create a table dynamically based upon a dataset provided. Users are also allowed to filter the table data for specific values.

machine-learning-challenge icon machine-learning-challenge

This project creates machine learning models capable of classifying candidate exoplanets from the raw dataset from NASA Kepler Space Telescope

matplotlib-challenge icon matplotlib-challenge

The purpose of this project was to compare the performance of Pymaceuticals' drug of interest, Capomulin, versus the other treatment regimens. Tables and figures were generated for the technical report of the study and a top-level summary of the study results was also created.

pandas-challenge icon pandas-challenge

This project analyzes the district-wide standardized test results at PyCitySchools by aggregating data to showcase obvious trends in school performance.

plotly-challenge icon plotly-challenge

This project builds an interactive dashboard to explore the Belly Button Biodiversity dataset, which catalogs the microbes that colonize human navels.

project-01 icon project-01

This group project aims to analyze and visualize crime cases in Toronto from 2014-2019. Correlations between crime and various metrics like time and seasons, premises and locations, and economy were looked at using open datasets from Toronto Police.

project-2 icon project-2

An interactive dashboard visualizing Toronto crime and neighbourhood profiles using Flask, Mongo, Python, and viz tools such as Plotly, Leaflet, D3.js.

python-api-challenge icon python-api-challenge

This project is in two parts. The first part (WeatherPy) visualizes the weather of 500+ cities across the world of varying distance from the equator, using Python script, CityPy and OpenWeatherMap APIs. The second part (VacationPy) uses jupyter-gmaps and the Google Places API to create a heatmap of these cities, filter down to the cities with an ideal weather condition and find the nearest hotel.

python-challenge icon python-challenge

This project consists of two challenges: PyBank and PyPoll. In both challenges, Python script was written for analyzing the financial records of a company (PyBank) and modernize a small-town vote counting process by analyzing votes .

sql-challenge icon sql-challenge

This project involved Data Engineering and Data Analysis where I designed the tables to hold data from 6 CSV files, imported the CSVs into a SQL database using PostgreSQL and wrote SQL queries to answer the given questions. A bonus analysis included creating some charts to analyze employee salary data.

sqlalchemy-challenge icon sqlalchemy-challenge

This project uses Python and SQLAlchemy to do basic climate analysis and data exploration of a climate database. Using this analysis, a Flask API was also created.

vba-challenge icon vba-challenge

This project uses VBA scripting to analyze real stock market data

viz-wiz icon viz-wiz

A short fun data viz project about the world's forests!

web-design-challenge icon web-design-challenge

Using city weather data from a previous project, this project focuses on implementing HTML and CSS to create a weather dashboard displaying all the visualizations.

web-scraping-challenge icon web-scraping-challenge

This project builds a web application that scrapes various websites for data related to the Mission to Mars and displays the information in a HTML page.
