I haven't actually tried it myself with a vanilla openstack install, but I believe it works (at least that is what my users tell me). Here are some hints as to what should work - if you can get it going then I can put it into the docs.
I think you will need to set these in the swift.Connection
object before calling Authenticate
.
UserName string // UserName for api
ApiKey string // Key for api access
AuthUrl string // Auth URL
Tenant string // Name of the tenant (v2 auth only)
If you are using a recent openstack then you will want to use the v2
auth, so your auth url will end with /v2.0
. This is the API address of the Keystone component in openstack.
That should be everything. You might want to set Internal
also.
If you want to run the test suite then set the corresponding environment variables (see Testing
in the README).
