I put together a tentative solution, where before grabbing statements the application grabs exact matches and adds them to the list of curies being used to grab statements.

Even with some initial implementation of the exactmatches functionality inside beacon-aggregator, we still face the task of how to represent equivalent concept cliques in the data table and in the concept map graph. Either we designate one concept (e.g. wikidata record) as "canonical" or somehow manage "equivalent concept cliques" in statements in lieu of the original concepts?

We have made substantial progress on resolving this issue since it was posted and since further comments were made, so we'll close it for now, but should probably capture the commentary above for further digestion (to see if we got things right)
