• The map for a Genus is probably possible.
• Hovering over a country and showing a list of species sadly won't be possible. We could list the species by country, but where should that list be displayed?

I think a list of species by country should be on a separate page and a link to this page should be below the country map. You could even have the same for 'normal' country maps.
