Pandeia does not explicitly use gain (except for HST calculations). Instead the gain is used to measure the detector properties, which are then included as part of the published reference data (pandeia_refdata). So the question is whether or not it has been included in the updated reference data. Klaus Pontoppidan at STScI clarified: The current MIRI reference data files still use the preflight gain value. An updated value is in a new file that is ready to deliver but has not yet made it to CRDS. A challenge is the value is probably wavelength dependent, but this has not been characterized.
