Use the Alexa App, to do this, I use this to control my garage doors and all I did was go into the Alexa App and create a routine
!. open Alexa App
2. hit upper left corner the hamburger symbol or "the three lines piled up on each other" symbol
3. select "Routines"
4. hit the plus sign in the upper right corner
5. hit the plus sign next to "When this happens"
6. hit the Voice
7. type in the phrase "Open garage door"
8. hit next in upper right corner
9. hit the plus sign next to "add action"
10. select "Smart Home"
11. select "Control device"
12 scroll down to the name of the device you gave to the garage door in the TRIGGERS list with in your python script
13. Select to turn the device ON or OFF depending on how your script works. I set mine up so it triggers the relay on either ON or OFF
14. hit the "next" in the upper right corner
15. hit the "save" in the upper right corner
16 give Alexa a minute or two to update
17. now say the phrase "Alexa, open garage door"
I set up a routine to open and close each of my garage doors.
