Hi,

I usually always set a bypass on my plugins for my minecraft account by checking if the user typing the "/spleef" command match my name and account UUID. It wasn't a problem for like 4 years (that plugin is kinda old), and all of a sudden it is. I received complains from SpigotMC. My plugin seemed to be "abusing owner's permission and trust'"

As I am working and not checking all my minecraft stuff every day, I did not see that they gave me un ultimatum; remove the permission that I gave myself or get my plugin deleted from SpigotMC in 3 days.
They gave me 3 days to do it, i did it the last day but still got the plugin deleted 2 or 3 days later.

Honestly, I don't understand why they deleted it, but that plugin as some of a burden you know. People like you know how minecraft and plugin work, but a lot of server owner are literally spamming me, that was so annoying.

I don't know If I'm going to post it again. It wouln't be that hard, I only have to upload description's images and the plugin.

What a interesting story to read, the plugin may be 4 years old but it works like a charm.
Sad to hear it was taken down by them, as far I know this is the best spleef plugin that isnt broken and kinda up to date.
Some admins dont have the know how or the patience to run a minecraft server. They also find it easier to contact the plugin owner directly instead of reading the docs.

I've had to use the wayback machine in-order to find this github page and the spigot docs images.
Why cant they just archive the page without a download option?

I've got two questions.

• Can you make it so others and I can still download the latest version via this github repo?
• Then is there a possibility that the plugin can be compiled by others or me?

If you got the time It would be great to see the plugin back on the spigot page or somewere else.

There you go. As I said, I only had to upload the description image and the plugin.
I probably make an update to make sure everything works.
Hope it won't be deleted again lmao. There isn't any weird permission that I gave myself so...

And yes of course you can compile it, the libraries needed are in the 'libs" folder.

I do have a small Minecraft minigame server that is in the works for me and my friends.
Its nothing big just simple arenas we build on the server when ever we have time.
The server is kinda private but I can ask them if they are okay with you joining. 90% there okay with it.

There aren't Good Minecraft minigames plugins out in the world that get updates and work.
