Is this still an issue for you? I have just given it a go and it has worked as expected.

The error you are seeing mentions a timeout so it could have been a temporary issue.

That is very odd, I am not sure why it would be working for my cloud instance but not yours. I did wonder if maybe it was an issue connecting to ap-east-1 but I have just set up a new confluent cluster in that region and it connects as expected.

Can you send me an email to [email protected] and include your cloud username so I can investigate further? I don't believe this is a bug with n8n as it is working so it could be that there is something funky with your cloud instance that we need to look into.

Resolved in the support ticket, A different region seemed to work without issue.
