Hello,

sorry for the late response I didn't saw your post.
we can't use native socks resolving capabilities because the redirection is at netfilter level, and the application is not aware that it is beeing proxified.
But we don't need this feature as DNS queries are already proxyfied through the socks5 server. The trick is to open a local dns server and redirect all trafic UDP port 53 to this local server. The local server then convert a UDP DNS request to TCP DNS request to the DNS server of your choosing (--dns-server option). When pr0cks attempt to contact the dns server using TCP, it is automatically proxified through the tcp iptables rule that get redirected to pr0cks TCP server and then proxified through your socks server :)
yeah so basically pr0cks proxify itself and there is no DNS leak
