@harjindersinghbobby in static methods you don't have access to class instance properties. So you can't call this.props.navigation.

I want to achieve something like this:

<MenuItem 
              key={index}
              onPress={() => {
              {this.hideMenu()}
              }}
              textStyle={{color:'white', fontSize:20}}>
              {item.value}
          </MenuItem>

But It seems that <MenuItem onPress={} is not being called. Any help Please.
