Hey @sterlingdcs-damian this is definitely possible.
You can pass in MenuProps into the slotProps that define this:

slotProps={{
  baseSelect: {
    MenuProps: {
      anchorOrigin: {
        vertical: 'bottom',
        horizontal: 'left',
      },

      transformOrigin: {
        vertical: 'top',
        horizontal: 'left',
      },
    },
  },
}}
