[data grid] The `preProcessEditCellProps` params don't include the column field name about mui-x HOT 3 OPEN

Yes, it will be sufficient enough and I'm going to add it via a mapping.
However, I would love it if the field parameter was added in a future update. It's a quick fix, but very convenient.

Hey @DoubleDebug ... true, we are missing to pass the field. I will put this on our board for the team to discuss.

In the meantime: You can use a factory function to pass in the field manually. Here is an example

const preProcessEditCellPropsFactory = (field: string) => async (params: GridPreProcessEditCellProps) => {
  ...
};

Depending on how you get your column definitions you can either manually add it:

const columns: GridColDef[] = [
  {
    field: 'name',
    headerName: 'MUI Contributor',
    width: 180,
    editable: true,
    preProcessEditCellProps: preProcessEditCellPropsFactory('name'),
    renderEditCell: renderEditName,
  },
];

... or add it via a mapping:

const columns: GridColDef[] = fetchedColumns.map((col) => ({
  ...col,
  preProcessEditCellProps: preProcessEditCellPropsFactory(col.field),
}));

Would that be sufficient for now?
