@oliviertassinari readOnly needs to be passed through InputProps for those components, e.g. TextField:

<TextField InputProps={{ readOnly: true }} />

I believe what @Munhuggas is suggesting is to be able do it directly like disabled:

<TextField readOnly disabled />

I suspect we already saw this issue in the past, around 2018. The TextField can't possibly handle the forwarding of all the props, it would create too much bundle size. So to consider if it's worth it. I suspect the stance in the past was to say that readOnly is too much of an edge case to be worth the runtime cost.
