Created a PR for this here: #630
from react-native-mmkv.
You're not changing this, my PR disables logs in release build. I'll release it later today
from react-native-mmkv.
Yes this is expected behaviour.
Is there a problem with logging in production?
from react-native-mmkv.
I don't think it should be logging in production, at least on this detail level? I don't get this from any other library that I'm using.

Well then some people post issues and I don't have enough logs to help them ๐

It should be possible to disable the logs.
from react-native-mmkv.
It is possible, just add the logLevel:MMKVLogNone
parameter to the initializer:
react-native-mmkv/ios/MmkvModule.mm
Lines 50 to 57 in 8ca6ae5
[MMKV initializeMMKV:storageDirectory logLevel:MMKVLogNone];

Thank you for the PR, however, I occasionally recreate my ios
and android
folders, so I'm not sure how much of a viable approach it is to change native bindings manually?
