Lack of repeat problems?

I think, no. May be it requires texture file with image shaped like four diamonds, because of unused (cutted off) portions of image... I'll report if it helps, as soon as I have an our to kill with texture drawing.

As I expected, four diamonds correctly map to the sphere. Use texture like this:

To test it, just replace normal Sphere primitive with
new GeodesicSphere( 3, 200 )
in the geometry_earth example.

Can you test my class with odd and even «iterations» argument? I've spotted some really strange perspective issue with even (0, 2, 4) iterations. I don't have words to describe… that =) And screenshots do not fit here, issue is tied with motion.
